As a Morton Grove resident since 1977, I can tell you that Morton Grove has been a great place to raise my three children.  Ask them & they will tell you that it's a community where we know most who live in our neighborhood.  It's place where many kids have grown up here & return to raise their families for generation after generation.
Morton Grove has been named by Family Circle Magazine as one of the 10 best towns in America to raise kids!  "My experience with the community is that it's extremely family-oriented," said superintendent Zabilka, Park view School district 70.  The magazine looked at a range of factors from air quality to cultural  amenities in naming its 10 best towns for raising children.  Among the issues the magazine considered in creating the list, were the cost of living, jobs, quality of schools, health care, the amount of green space and the crime rate.  Peter Falcone, an administrative intern with the village said "Morton Grove is close to Chicago for its cultural activities, theater.  It has a Metra line, & forest preserves."  "We've got all kinds of opportunities for kids and families," Zabilka said. "We've got great parks, great schools, a great location".  "When you look at all those things, they add up to make this a great place to live.
